Always Wanted A Lamborghini? Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Is Up For Sale!

There have been a number of great, unusual and rather expensive cars going up for sale over the past year or so. The latest is not something you see every day, a Lamborghini Sesto Elemento.

Only 20 of these fine, ultra light machines were ever made by Lamborghini. What makes it even more incredible and rare is that the mileage on the car is a mere 123 miles, basically the distance it was driven to be delivered. They say if you have to ask the price, you probably can’t afford it but if really want to know, the Sesto Elemento will set you back in the region of $2.6 million.

The highly limited edition Lamborghini sports a 5.2-liter V10 engine which they acquired from the Gallardo. The 6-speed automated manual gearbox will control the 570 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque the car pushes out. That is a lot of power for such a light vehicle that has a curb of weight of a smidgen over 2,200 pounds. They manage to keep the weight down to those levels by using mostly carbon fiber.

It has been used wherever possible including the body, chassis, parts of the suspension and the driveshaft. What you get after all that is a supercar can that will reach 62 mph in a mere 2.5 seconds. Keep going and you will be doing 210 mph before you know it. A bit of mystery surrounds the sale of this car as the sellers, Knight International, say the vehicle is currently situated in Dubai. Pictures of the car look remarkable similar to a Sesto Elemento that was up on Craigslist.

A bit of a tacky way to sell such a fine car in my opinion. That car, the seller claimed, was then in Seattle, Washington. They advised that the particular vehicle has only 118 miles on the clock. Their asking price was $4.5. Given the close odometer readings, this could well be the same car. From looking at the two cars, they look very much the same but it impossible to say for sure. James Edition has a bit more credibility than Craigslist and it is a huge saving, just be sure you know what you are doing.
